Maintenance Agreements

Our maintenance plans are based around a monthly allocation of hours to be spent on updates to your website. Your changes will generally fall into two categories: the ‘urgent’ changes which need to be made within 24 hours, and ‘non-urgent’ changes which need to be made within a week.

Sygneca’s maintenance agreements set out a number of ‘urgent’ and ‘non-urgent’ developer-hours which will be available to use over the course of a calendar month.

Like the minutes on your mobile phone, if you find that you don’t make use of your hours in a month, they will roll over onto the next month, so they don’t go to waste.

If you have more specific requirements, we would be more than happy to discuss alternative arrangements.

It is often difficult for anyone who isn’t an experienced developer to place estimates on the developer-hours required to make changes, and to know in advance the likely extent of changes over the course of one month.

To assist our clients, we provide both advice and flexibility: We can help quantify change requests and give well-practised estimates of the timescales for expected changes, and should your requirements exceed the estimates in one month, our agreements can cater for maintenance work beyond that.
